The Local Village project mimics the ancient heritage life in the authentic Saudi architectural character, where the visitor enjoys his stay immersed and overwhelmed between legacy of the past and originality of the present. The project is designed on an wide area that reaches 35.000 square meters approx. In Mekkah.
The project contains perfect areas for different kinds of stores, cafes, restaurants, green squares, public and private salons and auditoriums for holding ceremonies and sessions which bring the memories of late ancestral gatherings atmosphere. It also contains a mosque for men and a women’s prayer room, a multi-purpose hall along with a special area for a teaching Institute specialized in teaching handicrafts.
